the in-laws

i LOVE my in-laws.
They are totally and completely just the cutest things you've ever seen.

It is so comforting to know that you married well.  (Now, I was raised in a wonderful family myself).  But I mean seriously- the Dalby-Mangum-Trueblood clan is just the sweetest/talented bunch ever.  I really have loved getting to be a part of such a fabb fam. AND the best part is I get to keep them all for eternity.

...the only downer part is that our times together seem few and far between,  but I really do appreciate the special occasions in which I do get a visit! After we had a couple weeks to settle,  my mom left and Michael and Georgia came into town.

Let me tell something to you, those two know how to vacayy and Tay and I were so grateful they were willing to share their excitement with us.

Day 1: The Dalby's take on Universal Studios

Tidbits of Travel- Georgia's fine googling skills taught us the do's and don'ts of amusement park-ing
DO- Wear comfy shoes. a must
Do-Take a picture of your car location (some poor man lost his way when the park closed. no fun)

DO-Carry baggies for your cell phones on wet rides-saved.our.lives.
DO-Wear sunscreen
DO- Have the best company ever to enjoy the time!

Done. and. Done.

Here are some of the best shots of the day:

Our first, (and only Hulk) ride for the day.
Take it back, Tay went for a 2nd round.
Dear Hulk ride, I would appreciate never riding you again in my life.  I cherish all of my brain cells, and your brain-bashing excitement was more than I could handle.

Note our completely ecstatic facial expressions. This is what BUTTERBEER will do to you.
Yes and Yes. Seconds and thirds please... your completely non-alcoholic delic-ness is addicting.

Umm. That's right. That's the Hogwarts castle.. completely worth standing in a 45 minute line to glean my 3 minutes of bliss from you.

Can I just say, maybe, I might be completely in love with the
WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER.
Yes, I totally loved every moment of it..
ps 9-year old boy in your decked out Gryff ensemble.
i love you.

Shmaybe one of the highlights of my 45 minute wait was the SNOW FALL from the HOGWARTS castle. HOW stinking awesome is that. It was 100 plus outside and snowing in the Castle.

Yes I was completely happy as shown below.

Dear BUTTERBEER. I have dreams about you.

i just thought this was too stinking cute... michael dalby
Is this not the greatest picture ever?
Taylor will be a great dad. Note, because he has a great dad.

I can't wait to have future babies and read from our collection of Dr. Seuss books.
Dr.Seuss--you were inspired and I just love you.

FYI Taylor, it's called MARVIN K.MOONEY, WILL YOU PLEASE GO HOME.

I think every home should own a Seuss collection. I don't care if you don't have kids, they're just good to own. (my favv is Yertle the Turtle--its a must.)

Dr.Doom's Drop.. you were my favorite ride. I'd come back and ride you 5 more times just to get a view of Orlando.

NOTE: this was one of our final rides in the park...notice the completely soaked state of our attire.
Duddley Do-rights water rafting is to blame.
That's right. I rode front seat.
(Duddley's is like unto Splash Mt at Disney)

That's about it for the UNIVERSAL adventure.

Something that made the day--One park in one day was perfect for us.  Thank you michael dalby for the express passes**

No go on the Poseidon Adventure... Second and Thirds on the ButterBeer.mmkay?

DAY 2: ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH

I honestly can't remember the last time I was on a sandy beach..but man do I love them.

Historical note, St. Augustine is the oldest occupied city in the US. and was originally settled by the Spaniards.
it.is.beautiful.

lighthouse. check. sandy beach. check. wayy cool hippie eatery. check. old college. check
cutest shopping district ever. check.

**Don't hate that we are pasty-pale// our poor vitamin d. deprived bodies have spent long periods of time in frozen rexburg.

Doesn't that just make you happy?!

That's about it.  We enjoyed our last day shopping around, exploring the law school campus, and prepping the dalby's for their flight home.

man, we sure miss them.

we just love them.

I truly feel blessed. And I mean it with all my heart.  Medical professionals, comedians, gigglers, students, sports enthusiasts, mothers, bakers, and lovers. You name it. My family has it = )
