One Year Engagement and Counting...

A year ago yesterday, Taylor and I were engaged!  Crazy to think our lives have changed so much since then.  Time has just flown by; we're graduated, relocated, adapting to heat, praying for rain (I'm from Washington... I didn't know people did that = ), and loving life all the same.

Here are some cute pics for you to indulge in. go ahead.

Is it just me, or does Sepia just make your life that much better?

I think I might adopt the tradition of taking pictures near/around anniversaries.  It's exciting to think what we'll look like 20 years down the road. Yano?  Having something fabulous to show some future babies.  Seriously, PINK Victoria Secret hoodies and leggings will never be out of style, right?

Because my husband's fabulous and I'm slow on the uptake, he got me this fabbb magazine for our proposeranuverserary.

Have I mentioned how much I love COOKING LIGHT.  It seriously is the best magg around.  It has the most delectable, simple, and quick recipes which are delic!  We have a habit of adapting and incorporating some of the better ones into our routine dishes.  It's kind of become a tradition, and it works wonderfully with our poor, college budget!  All the recipes include in season fruits/veggies. They're to die for.

If you don't have the most recent issue, then get it!

It won't disappoint.

Have I mentioned what a shock to your self-esteem being jobless induces?  It's horrific.  I'd like to consider myself a fairly educated, reliable, honest, and hard-working individual. Man oh' man.  Not having a job is tuff stuff.  It really has made me appreciate having a loving and supportive husband, and great family members! I have to continually remind myself that my self-worth is not dependent upon my status as a working-woman.  Does anyone else confuse those two?  Thank heavens for eternal perspectives.

...on a side note, I have had several interviews as of late and things look promising.  It's just the waiting process that can be so frustrating.

Other than that, life is pretty sweet for us Dalbys.  Tay works for one of the Fortune 500 co's, yano, the one called Wal-Mart, and I'm reading books for fun.  Can I say we're living the American dream?

--just a couple of dalbs.
